چکیده
Due to both the requirements of repeated complex organic synthesis and tedious biochemical verification experiments for screening new photosensitizers, development a satisfactory photosensitizer with excellent photosensitivity highly specific response ability is still great challenge accurate imaging localization precise photodynamic therapy (PDT) tumors. Herein, under help theoretical calculations, high-efficient target-activatable aggregation-induced emission (AIE) molecular photosensitizer, TPE-TThPy, rationally designed synthesized by conjugation tetraphenylethylene (TPE, which used as electron donor) tetrahydropyridine (ThPy, can be converted methylpyridine salts acceptor) using thiophene (T) π-bridge. This TPE-TThPy molecule exhibits not only good cellular uptake mitochondrial targeting but also ultra-high monoamine oxidase A (MAO-A) specificity when oxidized action MAO-A. The specifically PDT performance MOA-A-activatable AIE demonstrated different cell lines mouse tumor models. successful this provides insight single-molecule therapeutic drugs targeting-response ability.

Reaction-based two-photon probes for in vitro analysis and cellular imaging of monoamine oxidase activity.
Reaction-based fluorescent probes for monoamine oxidases A and B are developed based on a new two-photon absorbing compound and its precursor. The probes show turn-on fluorescence response to the enzymes owing to the two-photon absorbing compound produced by the enzymatic activity, as monitored by one- as well as two-photon microscopy for the first time.
